The Drummond Carpenter team welcomes Lee Mullon, PE, CFM, D.WRE as a Principal Engineer.

Lee has 17+ years of professional experience in water management for public and private clients across Florida and in California, specializing in water resources and civil engineering. As a recognized innovator in stormwater management, Lee focuses on the improvement of best management practices (BMPs) through efficiencies in implementation, monitoring, and integration of BMPs into multiple water systems. He also specializes in adaptation and resiliency of built infrastructure to withstand increased risks associated with climate change, including sea level rise adaptation and inland flood protection for communities and industries vulnerable to increases in precipitation intensity.

Lee is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a master’s degree in water resources engineering with multiple research publications on climate change, satellite and ground-based remote sensing for water resource systems, and artificial intelligence-derived precipitation forecasting for water management. He has taught as an adjunct instructor at UCF in water resources design, focusing on practical water resource design applications to address flooding and water quality impacts from stormwater systems.

Lee will provide technical and strategic leadership in Drummond Carpenter’s growing civil and water resources engineering practice areas.
